Professional Profile

My long and diversified experience in the fields of free-lance translation and teaching, TV and print reporting, political analysis and PR work give me the appropriate credits to cooperate with your institution. Living in the U.S., France and elsewhere out of Tunisia, in addition to working as foreign correspondent for outlets in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, also helped me acquire a multi-cultural, multi-language background. It was strengthened by the positions I held at the U.S. Embassy in Tunis (almost ten years), with the European Union and with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU). In all positions, the environment was multi-national and multilingual.

Political and economic analysis has been my favorite activity all along. As early as 1980, I was producing for national TV a weekly analysis/commentary program, featuring the week’s most prominent world event. Almost all the jobs I held included translation to and from any combination of the three languages.

Finally, I have been using computers since 1984, internet since 1996 and daily responding to e-mail coming from all over the world since 1999.
