Professional Profile

I am primarily a translator of French to English texts, specializing in literary translation and journalism, e.g. magazine and newspaper articles. I also translate occasionally from German to English.

Experience and Qualifications

I commenced my career as a translator in 1997 by translating "A History of European Literature" from French to English. This book was subsequently published by Routledge Taylor & Francis in April 2000.
Another high point was my translation from German to English of the World War I diaries of an Austrian medic stationed in Slovenia on the Italian front from 1916 to 1918. He survived the war, but died in the flu pandemic which followed in Vienna.
