Professional Profile

I have been running a translation business for English and German since February 2005.

My fields of experience are engineering, electronics, archaeology, astronomy, oil and gas, energy, tourism and travel, marketing, casino games, business, financial, politics, legal, history, literature, religion and arts.

The software I work with is Microsoft Office 2003 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and FrontPage), Adobe Acrobat 8.0, and Omnipage. Working with some special dictionaries (architecture, economy, electronics, technology, chemistry and medicine) I have access to more than 1,700,000 words. I also have some working experience with XTM-cloud and Fastbird.

My capacities and rates are as follows:

Translations: 2,000 words per day / 0.05 USD per word

Creative writing: 2,000 words per day / 0.05 USD per word

Editing/Proof reading: 20,000 words per day / 0.02 USD per word

Subtitling: 2,000 words per day / 0.50 USD per minute

Of course I am willing to do an unpaid test translation.
