August 2004: Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Münster, Germany). One-month intensive summer course of German language and culture. Scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
September 2004 – June 2005: John Moores University (Liverpool, UK). Third course of the degree in Translation and Interpreting under the Erasmus Program.
August 2006: School of Modern Greek. University of Cyprus (Nicosia, Cyprus). One-month intensive summer course of Modern Greek. Scholarship awarded by the Alexandros Onassis Foundation.
September 2006 – July 2007: Spanish Language Assistant in Ibbenbüren (Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany) and philology/language studies at the University of Osnabrück (Osnabrück, Germany).

EXPERIENCE
September 2007 – August 2008: Translation Internship, awarded by the Spanish State-owned Industrial Holding Company SEPI, at the Spanish National Institute of Communication Technologies (INTECO).
April 2009 – September 2015: In-house translator and reviewer at the translation agency RM-Soft Translation & Publishing providing translation services in different domains, including, but not limited to, engineering and technology, automotive, marketing, advertising, computing, legal, financial, insurance, economics, localization, IT, Internet, etc. Proofreading, revision and (post-)editing. Project management (communication with clients, reception and delivery of projects, contact with freelance translators, preparation and reception of POs, etc.). Project planning and scheduling (team coordination, follow-up of projects, troubleshooting and problem solving, etc.).
December 2008 – Present: Freelance translator and reviewer for several translation agencies in different domains, including, but not limited to, scientific and technical translations (Internet, IT, computing, engineering, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, mechanics, construction, etc.), legal and financial translations (sworn translations, finance, accounting, etc.), general translations (art, tourism, marketing, advertising, etc.), localization and subtitling. I have also translated from Spanish into English several e-books for the children’s collection ‘Johnny’, as well as computer-related books from French into Spanish for the French publisher Editions ENI:
